• From the north/Munich (toll-free): Take the A8 motorway towards Salzburg to the Siegsdorf/Traunstein exit. Continue via Lofer and Saalfelden to Maishofen. At the roundabout in Maishofen, turn into the Glemmtal valley and follow the Glemmerstraße (L111) to Viehhofen.
• From the east/Vienna: Take the Westautobahn (A1) to Salzburg, then the A10 (Tauernautobahn) to the Bischofshofen exit. Take the Pinzgauer Straße (B311) to Zell am See/Maishofen and turn into the Glemmtal valley (L111).
• In Viehhofen: Follow Glemmerstraße, turn at the village square, and head towards the church square. The distinctive yellow hotel building is located in the quiet village center.
Arrival by train
Traveling by train is environmentally friendly and convenient.
• Train stations: The nearest regional train station is in the neighboring town of Maishofen-Saalbach. The nearest major long-distance train station with Eurocity connections is Zell am See.
• Pick-up service: The hotel offers a free shuttle service between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., which picks you up directly from the Maishofen-Saalbach train station. Please contact us in advance (ideally the day before).
